What we check (all free, instant)

  • Redirect trace: every hop server-side, with cross-domain jumps flagged.
  • Domain intelligence: registrar + age via RDAP, certificate via transparency logs, DNS consistency.
  • URL structure: IP hosts, look-alike brands, shorteners, risky TLDs, encoding tricks.
  • Known threats: Google Safe Browsing when a key is configured — otherwise we say so instead of claiming “clean”.
  • Sandboxed preview: static server-rendered screenshot — the site never loads in your browser.

Nothing is stored. Checks run fresh every time. Unknown means unknown — never “probably safe”.
